PCB Canvas is a circuit board design app. Your boards are yours. The app has no accounts, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking.
In short:
Boards, schematics and exported fabrication files are stored on your device. If you open or save files in iCloud Drive or another location through the Files app, those files are handled by Apple or that provider under their own terms. We never receive copies of your files.
Nothing else leaves your device.
The app uses Apple's MetricKit to keep performance and crash diagnostics in its own Documents folder on your device. The app has no way to upload them. You can look at them or share them yourself through the Files app.
If you install a beta through TestFlight, Apple may share crash reports, usage information and any feedback or screenshots you choose to send with us, under Apple's privacy policy and TestFlight's terms. TestFlight also shows us the name or email address you were invited with, or that you use a public link. We use this only to fix problems and improve the app.
The app saves preferences, such as view options, and the addresses of any services you pair, on your device. They are removed when you delete the app.
PCB Canvas is a professional design tool. It is not directed at children, and it does not knowingly collect information from anyone.
If the app starts handling data differently, we will update this page and its effective date before that version is released.
